Once at the ideal point, the handle spins freely to prevent over-sharpening. Standard graphite or oversized artist pencils will fit through the sharpener’s extra-large pencil opening. The cutting blades can be removed and cleaned. A mounting clamp is included, but not necessary for portable sharpening.
